The SCAPA brings together a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, researchers and technical specialists working at the forefront of laser-plasma accelerator science.

Based at the University of Strathclyde, the team combines expertise in high-power laser technology, plasma physics, particle acceleration, radiation generation, diagnostics and experimental development.

Working collaboratively, SCAPA researchers aim to advance the performance, stability and reliability of laser-driven particle accelerators and explore their potential for applications in science, healthcare, industry and beyond.
